but fear not, they're only human.

The Berkhimstead Barracudas hailing from Hertfordshire, England brought 12 club members aged between 10 and 14 to the Island on a training jaunt as guests of Bermuda's newest swim club, Dolphins.

Leading the English troop is head coach Kevin Ayers, who took over the position vacated by school teacher Duncan Newby when he came to Bermuda.

Newby said it was a plus for Bermuda to host overseas organisations such as the Barracudas. "There are clubs all over the world that would like to come here and train in an outdoor environment,'' said Newby. "Hopefully more will come when we get a 50 metre pool or a little dome like they have in Barbados.

"In England these kids are swimming in a heavily chlorinated, closed environment and this is a good change for them.'' The visit has also allowed the Dolphins and Barracudas to form new allegiances. "The kids have made new friends and learned new culture, ideology and methodology and generally have had a good time,'' continued Newby.

Barracudas are due to leave the Island tomorrow.
