Knight to fill the gap of vice president which was vacated after Peter Sousa

Knight, who ran unopposed for the vice president position, has now been replaced on the committee by Cal Simons.

Meanwhile the BFRA are reminding referees that the annual Cooper fitness test will be held at National Stadium on Monday, starting at 6.30 p.m.

Members are also urged to attend the regular training sessions that are held at Horseshoe Bay on Sunday's at 8 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

Devonshire Colts will resume training tomorrow for the 1993-94 youth soccer season.

Registration for players in the Mini Minor (under-12) division and Pee Wee (under eight) will be at 5.15 at Frog Lane field. Parents are asked to accompany players to full in registration and player contract forms. There will be a brief meeting with the youth coaches.

The Bantams (under 16) will meet on Thursday at 4.30 at Northlands School with coach Jones. The Minors (under 14) will have a meeting on Friday at Frog Lane at 5.30 with coach Bean.

Late registration for the NAS Youth Soccer League will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the concession stand on the Base. Registration fees are $20 for youngsters between five and 14. Proof of age is also required.

There will be a training session for all Dandy Stars women's soccer players this evening at Prospect Primary field at 6.00.

SQUASH SQU The Bermuda Squash Racquets Association held its first tournament of the season on Monday night, the Shell Divisional Handicap Tournament.

In the C Division Siobhan Lohan was the only woman to reach the finals, with a 3-2 victory over junior Ashlea Johansen. However in the final newcomer Dan Kenyon was much too strong and won in three straight games.

The other main final of the night saw a great encounter between national team players Jan Brewer and Tony Prentice, a match which lasted almost one-and-a-half hours. Brewer came from 7-11 down in the fifth set to take the set 15-12 and the match 3-2.

TENNIS TEN Grotto Bay will hold their Open tournament between September 22 and October 3.

There will be competition in A and B singles, doubles, mixed doubles, senior men's singles and doubles and senior women's doubles.

Entry forms which are available from all BLTA member clubs should be returned to the Tennis Stadium or Grotto Bay by Sunday.
