Royal Mail Cup as the Bermudians produced a dominating display before a sizable crowd in Portsmouth, emerging with a 3-0 victory.
Evidence of things to come came early with striker Tyrone Smith having two shots cleared off the line. On both occasions Smith was successful in rounding the goalkeeper and directing shots toward goal only to have a defender clear off the line.
Eventually though the youngsters were able to breach the defence and it was Keemo Smith doing the damage after 10 minutes when he scored with a spectacular diving header of a Damon Hewey cross.
Smith increased the margin to two goals five minutes later after running onto a through-ball and thundering his shot home from close range.
The destruction was completed when Smith passed to an onrushing Wolde Place to blast into the pigeon-hole from all of 20-yards, giving the Valetta 'keeper no chance.
Despite the lack of goals, Bermuda dominated the second half much as the first with some delightful soccer.
Today Irish team Collyback stands as their opponents, but Bermuda enters the match with the knowledge that they have already secured a berth in the semifinals based on their two wins.
