Exactly a year after reaching the quarter-finals of the Concacaf Under-15 Championship in Orlando, Florida, the bulk of that team will be together again, hoping to help Bermuda’s Under-17 side advance to the next stage of the Concacaf Caribbean Qualifier in St Lucia next week.

Captained by Danni Watson and including six players who recently played for the Bermuda Under-20 side on home soil against Curaçao and Jamaica, the team will open their group C matches against home side St Lucia next Tuesday.

They then play Antigua and Barbuda on August 24 before closing out the group stage against Aruba on August 26.

Naquita Robinson, who coached the Under-15 side to the last eight in Florida before losing to the United States, will again be in charge of a group familiar to her, while Vance Brown is the assistant coach.

That 2016 squad contained the likes of Watson, LeiLanni Nesbeth, Nia Christopher, Jaden Masters and Trinae Edwards.

Watson, Christopher, Edwards, Masters, Tianna Mullen and goalkeeper Zakhari Turner were members of the Bermuda Under-20 outfit that played Curaçao and Jamaica last month.
