On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were up $1.48, or 6.31 per cent, at $24.93.The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.92 of a point, or 0.05 per cent, at 1,782, while the BSX Insurance Index rose 78.56 points, or 5.83 per cent, to 1,425.29.
