Holiday turns friends green with envy
A new holiday to Bermuda has been designed to boost social-media presence and make other people jealous.
The Vacation Envy package said on its website the vacation “encourages wanderlusters to satisfy their travel itch and brag about it shamelessly”.
It added: “This package includes picture-perfect accommodation, personal photoshoots and tutorials from top travel social-media influencers, spa time and a custom-created book from the influencers themselves with insider tips to take home.”
The holiday programme from website Cheap Caribbean, will be run by Nastasia Yakoub and Jess Meyrick, who “have years of experience documenting their travels, have built a following and connected with people all over the world.”
The three-day package, available from the US, will include accommodation at the Hamilton Princess and a photography tutorial on the beach.
Other locations are said to include Warwick Long Bay, Jobson’s Cove, Church Bay and a sunrise shoot at Admiralty Park, featuring “luscious greenery, underground tunnels and a secluded beach.”
The Hamilton Princess and its harbour views will also serve as a backdrop for a photoshoot.
The package will also include a tutorial on how to take the best food shots.
The trips, scheduled for May, start from $999 per person, with the price varying depending on city of departure.
