Shipping liner Oleander sailed into the Island once again, this weekend, from its New Jersey Hub, bringing 143 dry containers and 38 refrigerated ones.

It also had miscellaneous cargo consisting of 27 cars, one boat on a trailer, two trucks and nine road trailers. It sailed from Bermuda at 4.30 p.m. on Monday.

Meanwhile the Somers Isles is scheduled to arrive in the Island at 8 a.m. this morning, before leaving at 12 p.m. on Friday. It will be bringing 151 containers, including five refrigerated ones.

Bermuda Islander will sail into Bermuda tomorrow, before sailing out at 8 a.m. on Friday. When it comes it will have 139 containers including 17 refrigerated ones.

On Friday morning, Ocean Victory will arrive offshore, at Five Fathom Hole, for a crew transfer – it will sail out on the same day.

Last Thursday, at 3.59 a.m., Bermuda Radio received a 406 MHz ELT satellite alert fromP the Bermuda registered aircraft VP-BBG.

Communication with the company's 24-hour emergency contact confirmed the aircraft was safe on the ground at Kharbrovo Airport, Kalingrad, Russia.

On Friday at 11.57 a.m. motor yacht Indian Princess, on a voyage from Simpson Bay, Saint Maarten to Bermuda, reported to Bermuda Radio to having received a H/F DSC Undesignated Distress Alert.

After decoding the MMSI number and after Bermuda Radio's communication with the Master of the M/V Hanjin San Franciso, it was established a distress alert had been mistakenly generated during routine testing.
