Streets may be pedestrianised for late night Christmas shopping

Court Street and Reid Street may become traffic free for pedestriantised late night Christmas shopping.
Court Street and Reid Street are set to go pedestrian for Christmas shopping this year, according to the City of Hamilton.The City’s Christmas Committee is discussing the yuletide shopping arrangement, along with the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Empowerment Zone (EEZ).Late night shopping last year was offered on Reid Street.Current plans are for late night shopping to run from 6pm to 10pm on Fridays from November 23 to December 23. Reid Street will be open from Queen to Burnaby Streets, and Court Street from Victoria to Angle Streets.
