Child let out of hospital
A toddler rescued from the sea in St. George's on Sunday afternoon has been released from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The two-year-old boy was rushed to intensive care after an accident which led to the death of three-year-old Stanwondae Swan.
Police told how the boys were pulled from the water at Kindley Field Road, near the BAS kitchen, at about 1.30 p.m.
Attempts were made to resuscitate both children at the scene but Stanwondae, known by the nickname "Miracle" to family members, died as a result of his injuries.
An investigation into his death is being carried out by Police. Coroner's officer Sgt. Lyndon Raynor told The Royal Gazette last night that once the inquiry was completed, a file would be submitted to the Coroner to determine if an inquest was necessary.
The two-year-old was moved to the children's ward on Monday and a hospital spokeswoman said last night that he had been discharged.
