And Education officials mobilised the Bermuda Regiment to help with the task of moving and cleaning salvaged supplies from the burned out school.

Fire destroyed a large portion of the central block of the Harrington Sound Primary school late last Friday night.

As a result, most of the school's 260 students were forced into nearby Whitney Institute's hall from Monday until yesterday as Police, Fire and other officials probed the damage.

But starting from today the lower grades of the school will return to unburned sections of the school.

And the upper years will move into the former Devon Lane School -- which is now the site of the Opportunity Workshop -- on the corner of Palmetto Road and Robert's Avenue, Devonshire.

Yesterday Nathley Landy, principal of the Opportunity Workshop, said teachers and staff from both schools had been working throughout the day to prepare the site.

But she downplayed the inconvenience of having the two school's share the facility.

"We've just moved over a little bit,'' Ms Landy said.

She added that staff converted one room into a classroom and promised the school's 35 students would continue to receive training.

"It's a tight squeeze,'' she admitted. "It will probably work -- it has to work.

"As far as the staff are concerned, we're going to make it work.'' Police are still trying to track down the woman caller who contacted the Incident Room on Monday afternoon with some vital information about the cause of the fire.

The Royal Gazette understands that the caller may even know the names of those responsible for starting the blaze. Last night a Police spokesman refused to confirm or deny that the woman knew the names of the arsonists.
