Natasha Trott breaks new ground with Concacaf appointment

Natasha Trott became the first Bermudian female referee to officiate in a Concacaf tournament when she was the referee assistant in the Women’s Under-17 World Cup qualifying match between Curaçao and Belize on Wednesday at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Curaçao won the group B match 2-1 after taking control with two goals late in the first half, scoring in the 44th minute and second minute of stoppage time.
Trott also officiated in the Caribbean Under-14 Tournament in August in the Dominican Republic as a referee assistant.
St Kitts and Nevis also started their Under-17 Group A qualifying campaign off on a winning note when they beat the US Virgin Islands 4-1 on Wednesday in Florida.
