Coaching for Success students cross finish line

The Mirrors Programme celebrated 28 students who completed their Coaching for Success community programme with a closing ceremony last Saturday.

A government spokesman said the eight-month course, designed for students between the ages of 14 and 18, focuses on social-emotional development, leadership, communication and academic strategies.

Ayanna Moniz, a student who took part in the programme, said at the ceremony that it helped her to stay focused, while student Na’Zhai Walker praised the programme for helping him persevere through challenges and form lasting connections.

Carla Bascome, a life coach for the programme, said the experience had helped her grow as a person.

Mirrors is now preparing for Cohort 20, which will run from October 2025 to May 2026, and those interested in becoming volunteer life coaches can register their interest from July 14 by contacting Mirrors at 294-9291 or mirrors@gov.bm.
