Section of Middle Road to close from Monday

A section of Middle Road in Warwick will be closed for emergency paving starting on Monday, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment announced.

The closure will be in place from east of St Anthony’s Church to the former TN Tatem Middle School, a spokesman said.

Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto Burnt House Hill and Harbour Road, and westbound traffic will take Tamarind Vale and Harbour Road.

Work will be carried out on weekdays from 7.30am to 5pm with only buses and area residents allowed along the closed route.

Staff from Surface Experts Ltd will direct traffic in the area with signs and barricades. The ministry apologised for any inconvenience that may result from the work.

Questions can be directed to Wendell Eve, of Surface Trends Ltd, on 707-2626.
