Bermuda Motors representatives attended a Mini product and marketing conference in Budapest, Hungary, this month, where they received updates on the carmaker’s product strategy, marketing plans and the latest automotive trends.

Joy Burgess, senior sales representative, and Sebastien Cornet, general sales manager, represented the company at the event, which brought together Mini teams from international markets.

The conference included workshops on Mini Editions and vehicle personalisation, as well as sessions on the growing use of artificial intelligence in the automotive industry.

Ms Burgess said one highlight was seeing the new Mini Cooper Paul Smith Edition, a designer collaboration expected to arrive in Bermuda later this summer.

Only four of the vehicles will be available locally.

“It was exciting to see the Mini Cooper Paul Smith Edition in person and gain a deeper understanding of the design philosophy behind this unique collaboration,” Ms Burgess said.

Mr Cornet said the event helped the Bermuda Motors team stay connected to the brand’s direction and product developments.

William Madeiros, managing director of Bermuda Motors, commended the pair for representing the company at the conference.
