Village thrash woeful Warriors
North Village 7North Village smacked seven goals past hapless St.David's for the second time in the four days.

Jason Lee and Keishen Bean both grabbed braces as the defending Friendship Trophy champions thrashed St. David's who started the game with just eight men at White Hill Field yesterday.
Perhaps some of the Warriors' players were running scared having been slaughtered by Village by the same scoreline in the league on Thursday night. At least two of their players decided to show up later in the first half to give their side ten men.
It took 12 minutes for the Rams to hit the back of the net against eight men at the time with Lee grabbing his first of the afternoon with a calm finish.
Thomas Watson made it two in the 26th when he slid home the simplest of efforts after nifty work down the flank from Lee.
Lee grabbed his second when he beat ‘keeper Corey Richardson to roll the ball into the back of the net in the 39th, before Ralph Bean jr. also got in on the scoring act one minute later.
Taurean Manders then made it five in the 44th after he was rewarded for a blazing run down the flank where he was found by Lee who squared for the onrushing Manders.
St. David's, for all their hard work, were never really allowed to get a foothold in the match, even when they went up to ten players, although their commitment and work ethic could not be questioned.
They did, however, have better fortune in the second half, gaining more possession and creating a few raids into Rams' territory.
Substitute Keishen Bean made his mark on the game in the 66th and 70th minutes for his two goals.
Pierre Smith, DeGraff and Watson all teed off of Richardson's goal in the dying stages, but the youngster was more then willing to accept the challenge, pulling off a few fine saves.
Rams skipper Sammy Degraff was thrilled with Villages' goal-laden performance. He said: “This game we were really confident that we could get the result knowing we beat them just a few days ago and we just didn't want to be complacent,” said DeGraff. “We wanted to be consistent, but knowing it's a cup game and anything can happen we wanted to make sure we picked up where we left off in the last game.”
DeGraff said the Village dressing room was bristling with confidence having already lifted the Dudley Eve trophy this season.
“The (Friendship) is another one of the cups we won last year, so obviously we want to defend it so the goal will be reaching the final and then trying to win it,” he said.
“I'm not sure who we play next but we want to win this and we want to do as we did with the Dudley Eve, successfully defend it.
“The mood in the camp is good, we have a few more players still to come in and we can implement into the fold.
“We still want to find consistency throughout the team, but for the moment we are pleased to go into the next round.”
