Dear Sir,

The Gilbert & Sullivan Society is to be congratulated for its recent Magic of the Musicals production at the Earl Cameron Theatre.

It is almost incredible to think that it could find so much local talent among the 65,000 people who live here.

The Rodgers and Hammerstein Medley would have not been out of place on Broadway and Paige Hallett’s Defying Gravity most surely equalled or excelled that which I saw in the West End. Overall, it was a such a delightful evening that my wife and I saw it twice and recommended it to all of our friends.

May we see more of these in future please?
