back there, it's a lot easier for me to swing at it. That's the beauty of this format. ``Bermuda is so beautiful, it puts you in the right mood right from

what more could you ask for?'' WALTER MORGAN: "These greens are grainy and very tough to read, but we made a lot of good putts out there.

"The wind was very tricky. But we had a good run, we had two eagle putts and missed them. If we'd been given 11-under before we went out we would have taken it. Eleven-under won it last year.'' NICK PRICE: "I played really well yesterday, I had nine birdies, so I reckon I used up my quota. But today we had our opportunities and none of us really made a whole lot of putts and that's what you've got to do. We all made three or four birdies, but under these circumstances that's just not enough.

"What made club selection difficult was that the wind had shifted about 45 degrees from yesterday. You couldn't quite be committed. And the pins were tough too. But it's always great fun to come and play here with the gals and the seniors. We just don't play enough together.'' JULI INKSTER: "How can you not have fun in a place like this? "I'm here with the family and we're going to stay a few days extra and see the Island. The clubs are staying in the bag for a while.'' TOM WATSON: "It was blustery. And the wind is the factor that really separates the people who are hitting the ball well and those who aren't. It's the challenge of any golf course.

"You get what you deserve on these greens. They are among my favourite type in the world. Just a wonderful contour. C.B.McDonald, he was a master at designing greens. I'd like to take some things from what I've seen here to courses with me when I begin designing around the world.'' GRAHAM MARSH: "Tom (Watson) played from the full tees and drove the ball fantastically. It just goes to show you that the standard of golf on the Senior Tour isn't all that bad.

"Obviously, Tom will be a force. That's great for our tour, that's what we want -- new challenges thrown down every week. Having said that, we've had 11 new winners on the Senior Tour this year, so that's been exciting.

"Statistics prove that those who come out at 50 always do well for the first two and three years, and guys in the mid-50s don't do as well. But I think we'll see that change as well because you have a guy like Hale Irwin who's going to keep his game sharp, as will Gil Morgan. I think the general fitness level is so much higher than when the tour started.'' DOTTIE PEPPER: "This was my sixth or seventh time here, but first in competition.

"I like the format, it was fun. I half-remembered the golf course, I'd played it before but that was about 13 years ago. But I remembered about half the holes pretty distinctly so I felt like I wasn't completely clueless going into yesterday's Pro-Am, and that helped a little.'' Compiled by Adrian Robson
