Valley players walk off in protest
on Saturday when they beat North Village Rams 5-2 while champions BAA Wanderers in second place were held 0-0 by MR Onions.
In Group B, Valley walked off in the second half of their match with Prison Officers in protest over the way the match was being handled. No official referee showed up so a Prison Officers official took charge of the game.
Prison Officers were leading 4-2 when their opponents marched off.
Valley member Ashton Thomas declined comment, but did confirm that a report had been sent to the Bermuda Football Association. D.Leader, Reginald Pitcher, M.Rawlins and A.Scott scored for Prison Officers while Kevin Isaac netted twice for Valley.
Barry Edean led Robin Hood's scoring against the Rams with two goals while Allan Mooney and Tim Perry both netted once. Richard Robinson also scored an own goal while Allan Fray hit both Rams goals.
Lobster Pot moved ahead of the Wanderers on goal difference after their 6-0 trouncing of Spinning Wheel. Neil Moffat netted twice to lead the Pot scoring while single tallies came from Neil McArthur, Tim Brown, Adrian White and Tony Smith.
Fire Service missed the chance to force a three-way tie for second place when they went down 3-2 to Mariners.
Fire twice led in the first half through Theron Smith and Leonard Davis before Frank Massaslor and Craig Dixon (penalty) made it 2-2 by the half. Joseph Cunha hit the winner for Mariners in injury time.
Ireland Rangers beat St. George's All-Stars 3-0 to move ahead of Fire Service.
Dennis DeRosa, Blake Outerbridge and Troy Berkeley netted for Rangers while Donald Madeiros also missed a penalty.
Forties remain on course for promotion to the top division after their 11th win in 12 outings. A second half goal by George Muhlbacher gave them a 1-0 win over Belco and they remain seven points clear at the top of Group B.
Somerset Extros beat Exiles 6-4 in a game which saw Extros awarded two penalties. Antoine Cannonier, Alan Johnson, Craig Tyrrell and Blane Outerbridge netted for Exiles.
Devonshire All-Stars and Devonshire Lions were involved in an exciting 4-4 draw as Kevin Hodgson completed his hat-trick in the 83rd minute to earn Lions a point. Hodgson also scored in the 20th and 40th minutes while Derek Weeks opened the scoring for Lions after just seven minutes.
Jeff Richardson was on target twice for All-Stars while James Raynor contributed an own goal and Stan Bean added another 10 minutes from the end.
Bermuda Pest Control edged by Wolves 2-1 with K.Douglas scoring both Pest Control goals and Sammy Lambe replying for Wolves early in the second half.
