There will be detours on bus routes 8c and 3 this weekend.

Bus route 8c will bypass Cedar Hill in Warwick on Saturday and Sunday owing to ongoing trench work preventing road access.

Road works in the Warwick Post Office area will continue until further notice. Buses can not service the inbound bus stop on middle Road across from the post office and passengers are advised to use the closest alternative inbound bus stop outside Warwick Lanes Bowling Alley.

Bus route 3 will continue to detour because of reduced road width caused by trench work on Harrington Sound Road near the intersection with Harrington Hundreds Hill.

Buses will use the following detour route until further notice:

Route 3 outbound:

Middle Road Devonshire; Verdmont Road; Sayle Road; South Road; Knapton Hill; back on the route at Knapton Hill.

Route 3 inbound:

Knapton Hill; South Road; Sayle Road; Verdmont Road; Middle Road Devonshire; back on the route on Middle Road.

The Department of Public Transportation thanked passengers for their continued patience and will resume full service to the routes after the road works are completed.
