Two arrested after beach incident

Two men were arrested today after an incident involving a blade at a beach car park.

A police spokesman said that Royal Bermuda Regiment soldiers reported a disturbance involving three men, one of whom was said to have a knife, at Horseshoe Bay around 3.30pm.

The spokesman said: “That individual, along with another male suspect, left the area in a motor car which was subsequently located at a private residence in Southampton.

“The two male suspects who were also at that location were arrested and transported by police to the Hamilton Police Station.”

No one was injured in the incident.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
