Police and TCD staff will carry out vehicle checks

Police and staff from the Transport Control Department will be carrying out vehicle checks tomorrow and Friday.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “These exercises will target persons who are operating vehicles in violation of the Motor Car Act and the Road Traffic Act.

“The selected areas will offer the least disruption to members of the public, but maximize the effectiveness of the operation.”

The spokesman said the operations would take place on the eastern and western parishes but gave no further details.
