Ascendant shares hit new 52-week high

Ascendant rising: The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 0.2 per cent on the increase in Ascendant Group's share price
Shares of Ascendant Group rose 5.3 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading to close at a new 52-week high.
The owner of power utility Belco closed at $10, up 50 cents on the day, as 23,800 shares changed hands.
Ascendant was the only stock to trade and The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 4.82 points, or 0.21 per cent, to close on 2,313.29.
